EXP Podcast #185: Gamescom 2012 Recap

Gamescom has come and gone, and with an amazing turnout at that! The yearly European game conference brings out all sorts of good news and this year, the news mostly concerns brand new games on the horizon.   1. Tokyo Jungle from all accounts is a pretty nice B grade game. But in regard to how other animals survive, from what I've read I'm pretty sure many other animals actually simply have to hide and eat grass and plants to continue onto the next generation.


    So glad to hear the Vita getting a little more love at gamescom as well. I've yet to get the platform yet, but it's one I have high hopes for.

  2. If I had the money, I'd check out the Vita, especially now that more interesting games and the whole cross-play thing is taking off. But I think that's the major problem with the Vita: it's a significant financial undertaking and having games like Sound Shapes come out for both PS3 and Vita just undercut any impetus to invest.
